Coota well-placed in Fuller challenge

AFTER two rounds of the Scott Fuller, Cootamundra golfers are well place at the top of their group with a progressive point score of 99.65.The second round was played at Gundagai with Cootamundra having 23 pairs travelling.

Coota’s average score was 47.33 and with five bonus points (for extra pairs playing) they finished with 49.32 at Gundagai.Gundagai have 86.12 with Young 79.83.

The final round is at Young on February 7.

The top four for Coota were Steve Johnson and Darryl Sedgwick 49, John Lienesch and John O’Loughlin had 48 with Garry and Annne Mason and Geoff Byrne and Ross Adams 46.

OLD Bob Hearne came out on top with 47beating hson Rod on 44. Rod had to settle for second.It was said that Bob’s stroke score was lower than his age. Quite an achievement considering Bob’s age.

NTP toJoan Adams on 5 and 16, D Byrne on 3.

WINNER was Neal Reaper with 42 and Geoff Manwaring runner-up on 41.NTPGeoff Byrne on three, Rob Hargraves on nine and Wayne Loiterton on 16.
