The brawl happened in Willow Drive MetfordPolice have called for the people involved in a violent brawl in Metford earlier this week to hand themselves in.
The brawl happened in Willow Drive Metford about 9am on Monday.
The altercation allegedly started as a verbal dispute between a number of people, including at least three juveniles.
The dispute then escalated into a violent brawl.
Police were called to the scene after reports of people being kicked, hit and objects being thrown.
On arrival officers from Central Hunter local area command found a young person with lacerations to their body.
There was debris from the brawl on the street, including smashed pot plants and ripped clothing.
Three juveniles were arrested at the scene without incident on charges of common assault and affray.
Police are now investigating at least two other individuals in relation to brawl.
“We expect to press more charges,” Central Hunter acting crime manager Acting Detective Inspector Mitch Dubojski said.
“My advice to the parties involved would be to hand themselves in.
“I would also like to thank the community for contacting us so we could intervene and stop it before anyone suffered from serious injuries.”
