South West Women’s Health educator Anne Mackay and Lamp program manager Sue Kosicki.A NEW health and lifestyle program is starting in Busselton for women who are looking for a socially active group with fun activities and information to boost self esteem.
The eight week course is being run in partnership with Lamp and South West Women’s Health.
It consists of weekly meetings which run for two hours were one hour is dedicated to physical activity.
Women who participate in the program can expect to learn about goal setting, behaviour modification, healthy eating and stress management.
Lamp day to day program manager Sue Kosicki said all women experience stress and anxiety at some point and the program was about giving tools and strategies to cope with those moments.
South West Women’s Health educator Anne Mackay said the women who attend can expect to have fun and meet new people.
The eight week course starts on Thursday February 4 from 10am to 12noon and will take place at the CWA Hall.
